Local, Dedicated & Experienced
I live in the Palmer area and am determined to become the
computer guy everyone knows they can trust. I am a family man with a baby, wife, two step teens and a
puppy. My wife is currently studying to become a public school
teacher while working in a pre school environment. Sometimes on
this web site I say "we", although I work alone in the business,
my family is very much involved with it. I commit to my customers
daily by applying to following standards to my company model.
- Always answer the phone. I will never leave a customer
hanging, I have excellent communications services and they make
sure I get the call. It is very rare that I can not get your
computer into my shop the same day you call. Almost 100% of the
time I can make an appointment for the very hour you call.
- Higher standards. Although getting paid is the main reason I
work, the satisfaction of knowing my customers appreciate the
value of my services makes my work even more rewarding. Once I
fix my customers computers, I tend to not see them for a long
time. They always seem to send a friend with a sick computer by
though.
- Experience in the field. I have done work for
Custom
Networks and
Bryley Systems
in the Eastern part of the state.
Both of these jobs helped me mold my business model.
- Professional Training. I have been trained in all phases of
computer repair and hold a CompTIA A+ certification. My
expertise is in operating systems and I have been specifically
trained in Windows NT, 2000 and XP. This is very helpful when
tracking down and removing virus/spyware problems.
- Do no evil. I will not over charge for parts and promise to
research parts quality and pricing before suggesting them for
your repair. I will hold my commitment to prices. I am here to
help you get the most from your investment. Your data is
protected and will not be shared at any level.
- Local. I like working in Palmer and the surrounding
towns, servicing the very same people who do work for me. Over
the summer of 2006 watch as we start services in Brimfield,
Sturbridge, West Brookfield and even Spencer.
UPDATE SUMMER 2007
We have expanded our services to the east of Palmer, such as Ludlow, Wilbraham, E. Longmeadow and Hampton and Springfield.
- Expanding. I started Rick Rock's Computer Services
from my bedroom, moved on to and extra room in my house (The
Lab) and also have expanded to a business location (13 Walnut
St.). I am now back at my home shop, but we have been servicing
many new businesses and spend much of the time on the road.
UPDATE SUMMER 2007
Rick Rock's Computer Services has moved to 2001-D Calkins Rd in Palmer Ma. We are located on the Palmer road side of the building
Right after the one lane under pass. I will be spending less time on working on the road and more time servicing computers at this location.
I will help you save money this way and comtinue to offer my $99 flat rate services to repair any computer issue. Parts are extra.
Thanks for reading about me & my little computer shop,
